ADHD
Symptoms in children

Watching your child struggle with focus, energy levels, or social interactions can be a confusing experience. It is important to remember that every child is unique, and ADHD symptoms manifest differently in every household and classroom.

Children may show signs of inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity—or a mix of all three.

How ADHD Appears in Children

ADHD in children can look very different from one child to another.

Some children are constantly on the move, while others may sit quietly but struggle to focus.

Many children show a combination of symptoms across different settings.

Understanding these patterns helps parents and educators provide the proper support.

It's important to remember that all children can be inattentive, impulsive, or energetic at times—ADHD symptoms are more persistent and impact daily functioning.
